How long have you been a tribe member of CrossFit Lakás? 10 months

What made you decide to do CrossFit? I came to a couple Bring A Friend Days with Ryan Reuter and almosted died. Then Lakás offered The World’s Best Bootcamp and I was hooked!

What do you love about CrossFit?  I love the different exercises and being able to try things I have never tried before. I love the people and watching people make transformations to things they never thought they could.

What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting CrossFit?  I feel stronger. I just wanted to be able to do one Pull-up without assistance and the other day I did 4!

Do you follow a special nutrition/supplement regimen?  Does wine count? Ha ha

What is your favorite / least favorite WOD?  My favorite WODs are AMRAPS. I like going my own pace and working on things without the “for time” aspect of a workout. I will say that Karen is probably my favorite because that’s the first one I could do Rx’ed.

What are your current goals at the Sweatshop?  I want to be able to do as many of the workouts as I can Rx’ed. It’s taken me a while to get Double-unders and Pull-ups so I want to keep working on those skills.

Do you have any advice to someone new at CrossFit Lakás?  Don’t look at the clock when starting. Just do all you can and only worry about feeling good and comfortable while you workout. Don’t let the big muscular men and women make you think you are doing something wrong, just work on your skills. ☺
